Minutes from the Alejandro Family Meeting

           Attendees:

Janina, Nenette, Mina, Joji, Bebette, Nic, Pierina

No agenda was set for this meeting.  The idea was to follow up on the last meeting from Feb 2011, unfortunately             the minutes from that meeting was unavailable.

Covenant. This should be passed on to the next generation. Circle (?)

Tasks from last meeting

Constitution. Nenet informed that she has no idea how to go about this but will try to get going. She will email a draft Feb 2013.

Videos and Pictures. Bebet has been working on digitizing the pictures. Pierina has been organizing the vides.

Alejandro Web page. The idea is to have easy access to information that should be shared between the Alejandro siblings. Some information should not be available outside the Alejandro sibling. This is Pierina’s project

Church Mass in CA. Joji had mass offered for Mama the 1st year

Family Tree. Work in progress by Nic. Nikita will help conceptualize how to do create the family tree

Tombs in Bulacan. Identify which bodies have been buried in which tomb- Nic

Mausoleum. Nic’s target is to finish in Oct 2013. Sonny will be helping with this. What to do about Boyette? Leave him as is?  Information and collaboration within the Alejandro siblings to be done via email

Baliuag Lot

Gas business not environmental friendly so it’s best to look in other ventures(?)

Monthly earnings of 15000 PHP as collected by Sonny

This amount to be shared with Sonny- approved by all

Sonny wants to add his property and do business

Power of attorney available in Janina and Nic’s names(?)

Title is missing

All taxes not paid since Chong passed away ( for Papa’s part or Chong’s part?)

11 shares - including Ina, Pancho and Nana

Bustos

Is not covered by land reform program (only rice fields are included)

10 hectares = 5 is Papa’s and 5 for the children

Tenants issue: Evangeline returned the title. Nenet is taking care of this

12 cows invested by Nic (?). 2 cows died (one committed suicide:) The male cow is apparently sterile

Mango Orchard

No titles or documents for this land

Tenants have built on this property, was able to get rid of some but they keep coming back. Once occupant leaving

1 hectar Isidro, 1 hectar Domingo

Small house, rent out the lot and cut down the trees (is this the plan?)

Candaba

Weather is extreme and been flooding a lot

Nic paid off some tenants but still about 2/3 left (?)

Tractor and bulldozer still available (?)

Rice, watermelon and fish

May 2013, end of land reform (?), 25 + 5 years (?) no limitation on buy and sell

Finances

All properties are in order and taxes have been paid

Nic will document all the expenses incurred for all the properties and send to all via email

There are no legal issues and the properties can be consolidated

Most important is Jim, Aida and Iyay - leave money (?) to them (?)

Reunion

Planned every 3 years

Next reunion is 2015 - Christmas holidays

Organizers are Joji and Pierina (Joji mainly :)
